Peter Webber, chef patissier and owner of "Les Anges", boutique deli/patisserie at the Royal Phuket Marina comes directly from a 12 year stint as Executive Pastry Chef of the world famous Oriental Hotel in Bangkok, having more or less started his career in London at the Inn on the Park and Savoy Hotel in London in 1986.
During his 4 years at the Savoy Hotel in London, Peter was promoted from Chef de partie to Pastry Chef and sent to The Okura Hotel in Tokyo and the Oriental Hotel in Bangkok for Promotions as well as being involved in many special events and competitions in Europe.
After the Savoy, Peter spent a few years in Dubai at the Hyatt Regency as Pastry Chef and was also sent out to the Hyatt Regency Belgrade to set up the Pastry Department but it was his love for Thailand that he was to eventually return there 5 years later.
With the opening of Royal Phuket Marina in Phuket in 2005, Peter was given the opportunity to showcase his talents in a joint venture with Mr Gulu Lalvani, developer of Royal Phuket Marina and founder and chairman of Binatone Telecom Group. The conception being Les Anges Patisserie
Les Anges Patisserie (the Angels Bakery) (pronounced "Lays Ongg") is proving a huge success on the island with many of the 5 star hotels being supplied with Peter's specialty cakes, home made pastries and delicious ice creams and chocolates, from the glass enclosed chocolate room where you are able to view the creations being made.
The condo owners and yachties at Royal Phuket Marina have the privilege of daily fresh product delivered to their doorsteps.
